Get Involved

A key component to Tent State's success has been the flexibility with which we approach our work. By using a project oriented organizing model, it is possible for organizers to participate at the level which best suits them. Here is some basic info about each project, the tasks that need to be worked on and who to contact to get involved. Ward-Based Campaign This project is run by our coalition partner Empower Our Neighborhoods (EON). EON is working to increase citizen representation in local government. Project Leader Mark NP - MarkNP@123FakeSt.com Anti-War Tent State began out of the observation that we need "Education Not War!". The Anti -War group continues on this tradition by mixing traditional protest politics with education and community building. Past work has included the "Great Rutgers Walk of 2007" and "The Rutgers Iraq War Teach-In".
